Terence Crawford in his last outing, defeated Errol Spence Jr. via technical knockout in the ninth round. Crawford gave an all-time great performance. ‘Bud’ also made history by being the first male boxer in the four-belt period to successfully defend two unified belts.
Crawford received a hero’s welcome in Omaha, Nebraska, after his spectacular destruction of Spence. Jean Stothert, the mayor of Omaha, made a heartfelt proposal to sell a plot of property for $1 in order to expand Crawford’s nonprofit gym.
The governor said: “He is not only a great man because it is towards accomplishment, all his wins, 40-0, undefeated, four belts, in two weight classes. No man has ever done that before in history. It is a storm! He’s not just a great man because he’s a great athlete, have no doubts about the best athlete in the world. He also gives back to Omaha.”
Children between the ages of 8 and 18 can receive training in boxing, wrestling, and mixed martial arts at Terence Crawford’s B & B Sports Academy near 31st Avenue and Sprague Street.
Terence Crawford suggests Errol Spence Jr should not consider retirement

Crawford vs. Spence Jr. was one of the most eagerly anticipated boxing matches in recent memory. While Crawford far exceeded the expectations of the crowd, Spence appeared to be struggling throughout the fight and wasn’t showing up to do anything.
The performance invited a lot of criticism and questions, and “The Truth,” who had never before been knocked down or out, is being advised to call it quits. Crawford, who does not share his opinion, does advise Spence to take a break to process his thoughts. In a recent appearance on The Breakfast Club, Terence Crawford stated:
“I don’t think he should retire. I think he should take a little time off, get his mind right, then get back in the ring and get focused…I would tell him that he’s a great fighter and to take a little time off. Come back, do it again but don’t rush.“
According to Crawford, Errol Spence Jr should think more about it and a small break would help him with that. The fighter mentioned that Spence has a lot of talent and should not take a huge decision like this in a hurry.
