Over the last couple of years, Logan Paul and Jake Paul have become big names in the combat sports world. However, Logan had not entered a boxing ring in the last two years after his WWE debut. Subsequently, Logan made his boxing comeback on October 14 at the KSI vs. Tommy Fury Prime card.

BJJ fighter Dillon Danis was Logan’s opponent for the crossover boxing event between Misfits Boxing and DAZN. Their fight was the co-main event, but ironically, their beef brought more attention to the fight in comparison to the main event. Furthermore, their beef started off mainly because of the Twitter trolling war between them during the promotion for the fight. Subsequently, things became personal after Danis began to target Logan’s fiancé, Nina Agdal, and even got sued for it. However, Logan was able to get his revenge by winning the fight. Across the fight, Logan was able to dominate Danis easily with his size advantage. Subsequently, in the last round, Danis got disqualified for his shenanigans before Logan could win via a unanimous decision. In addition, many feel that Danis shamed the MMA community, and Jones seems to share that sentiment.

Furthermore, in Logan’s boxing career, he has suffered two losses against KSI and one draw against Floyd Mayweather. Hence, Logan’s victory over Danis is his first official boxing win, and it will probably be the most satisfying one for him.

Breakdown of the Logan Paul vs. Dillon Danis fight

Many people felt that the fight was underwhelming in comparison to the trash talk and buildup for the bout. Paul appeared to easily have the upper hand over Danis, who struggled to keep up or land significant blows.

Furthermore, the controversial moments of the fight began in the 6th round, when Danis attempted to execute a takedown. However, Danis’s attempt was unsuccessful, and he received a warning from the referee, and Logan continued to beat down Danis. In the final round, things became more chaotic after Danis began more of his shenanigans inside the ring. Subsequently, Danis attempted to put Logan in a guillotine choke the same way Nate Diaz did to Jake in their fight.

In addition, Danis’s attempt to subdue Logan through illegal means inside the boxing ring was yet again stopped. Subsequently, Danis ran towards Logan to attack him, which led to an all-out brawl between both teams. Furthermore, the fight ended with Danis being disqualified and Paul being the victor.
