Logan Paul secured victory over MMA fighter Dillon Danis via disqualification in the climactic bout of their six-round heavyweight rivalry, which culminated in a tumultuous altercation at the AO Arena in Manchester during the events of a Saturday night. The bout reached its pinnacle in the last round, as Danis went on to execute a guillotine maneuver on Paul, prompting Paul to launch a series of punches at his grounded opponent. 

The lead-up to this intense match was filled with verbal sparring, mocking remarks, skirmishes at press conferences, and even incidents involving throwing objects at each other.  Danis has been extremely active with his online taunts and provocations directed at Paul’s fiancée, Nina Agdal, ever since the fight was formally revealed. The culmination of this ongoing tension manifested in the chaotic and contentious finale of the bout, further fueling the drama surrounding the event.

Danis had no prior involvement in the realm of boxing, as his expertise primarily lay in the disciplines of jiu-jitsu and mixed martial arts. This was pretty much visible, as the fighter couldn’t do much other than lay on the mat and taunt Paul. The YouTuber did hit some body shots at Danis but ultimately, the whole fight made the crowd frustrated.

Paul convincingly dominated the fourth and fifth rounds, leaving his opponent primarily focused on evading a knockout. In the final round, just before the massive altercation began, Danis had a point deducted due to his attempt to grapple with Paul and take the fight to the ground. In the end, Paul apologized to the whole crowd for a lackluster fight and called Danis a coward and a dirty human being.

How much money will Logan Paul and Dillion make for their boxing bout?

Other than the ongoing beef between Logan Paul and Dillion Danis, the main reason for the pair to get into the ring was to sell PPVs and earn money. Given the hype they created around that fight, it is possible that both fighters are ready to take home a hefty amount.

According to reports, Paul’s salary could be around 300k plus the pay-per-view percentage. In his last exhibition bout against Floyd Mayweather, Paul earned a total of $5 million. It won’t be surprising to see the fighter come close to that this time too. Similarly, Danis is guaranteed to get $200k and a pay-per-view cut.

Although the exact figure of Danis’ earnings from the fight remains undisclosed, it was widely anticipated to be his most financially rewarding outing to date. During a recent guest appearance on the FULL SEND PODCAST, Danis gave a little hint about his earnings, suggesting that they would surpass the income of a substantial portion of fighters within the UFC roster. The fighter claimed that he’s close to the likes of Israel Adesanya, Jon Jones, and Islam Makhachev when it comes to earning money from the Logan Paul fight.
