After this, they next fought on November 12, 2011, and Pacquiao won by a majority decision. Despite being knocked down by Márquez in the third round, Pacquiao’s overall performance earned him the victory. However, some observers still thought Márquez had done enough to secure the bragging rights. 

They last fought on December 8, 2012, which was the most electrifying and well-known fight of their rivalry. Márquez secured a stunning victory with a sixth-round knockout. Furthermore, Márquez’s perfectly timed counterpunch changed the course of the fight and put an end to the fierce rivalry.
