One of the most important parts of any combat sport is the ruleset. Different combat sports have different rulesets that the competitors should follow. Moreover, in the USA, different states have different rule sets. Recently, an MMA fighter made his debut in a boxing match in Poland and blatantly broke the rules.

The video of the incident went viral on social media. The MMA fighter took his opponent down and even elbowed in the video. The fighter in question was Marcin Sianos, a Polish heavyweight. The referee disqualified him for his illegal acts inside the boxing ring against Artur Bizewski, an undefeated kickboxer in professional boxing.

The controversial incident happened in the second round of their scheduled boxing match at Rocky Boxing Night, an event promoted by Rocky Boxing promotion. Bizewski has fought exclusively with the promotion in his nine-fight undefeated boxing career.

Sianos’s action angered the fans in the arena, who later stormed into the ring and threw objects at him. Moreover, security personnel had to escort Sianos out of the arena for fear of harm from the fans. Nonetheless, the incident sent the Internet into a frenzy.

Fans react to MMA fighter’s illegal moves in boxing match

Marcin Sianos attracted notoriety with his boxing debut against Artur Bizewski. His illegal actions against Bizewski drew the ire of boxing fans in the arena. The sentiment against Sianos was no different on social media, as fight fans heavily criticized him. No explanation is available as to what caused Sianos to lapse in judgment.

Fight fans found the actions of Sianos very despicable. For context, Sianos had Bizeski rocked before he took him down. Bizeski was a fish out of water at the moment and lost consciousness just as Sianos landed a brutal elbow. Nonetheless, see how fight fans reacted to the video below.

There were calls by many fans to suspend Sianos from combat sports altogether. Many found his actions extremely dangerous, particularly in a heavyweight where every strike could potentially change careers.
