Mike Tyson is well known for his various accomplishments, which include becoming the youngest heavyweight champion. Furthermore, Tyson went on to have a dominant career in the division with several highlight-reel knockouts. However, regardless of his achievements, Tyson has also had to face several trials and tribulations throughout his life. Subsequently, one of those was his time in prison for an alleged sexual assault case in 1992.
Tyson was found guilty by the jury at the end of the legal case. Furthermore, Mike Tyson maintained his innocence, and many people have stated that he had the worst defense. As such, Tyson ended up with a six-year prison sentence and was released after three years because of good behavior.
This was because he did not have many hostile encounters with the other inmates. However, while speaking about his time in prison, Tyson stated:
I don't care how good you fight. Them ni**as got crews, them ni**as be killin, they're there for murder, they don't care about killing nobody. They're never coming home. They don't give a f**k.Mike Tyson via Hotboxin

Tyson revealed that the others at the prison loved and treated him with respect. However, a guest on the podcast noted that they behaved in that manner because of Tyson’s reputation. Subsequently, Tyson did not agree with this and stated that they did not care about that.
In addition, Tyson stated that it doesn’t matter how good you are as a fighter against killers with crews. Furthermore, Tyson revealed that some of those inmates were there for life and had nothing to lose.
Mike Tyson’s rape case
Tyson, the former professional champion, was convicted of rape in 1992. The legal proceedings were widely publicized and covered by the media at the time. Furthermore, many people, like Donald Trump, stated that Tyson received the worst defense in the case.

Subsequently, Tyson’s attorney portrayed his client as a sex-addicted thug, which affected the case a lot. Tyson was then sentenced to six years in prison but served approximately three years before being released on parole in 1995. The charges stemmed from an incident that occurred in 1991.
Tyson was accused of sexually assaulting an 18-year-old woman in an Indianapolis hotel. Tyson has maintained his innocence, but he was found guilty by a jury, leading to his imprisonment. After his release, Tyson returned to boxing and continued his career.
