In an unexpected turn of events, former President of the United States, Donald Trump, and former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson were seen in attendance.
Mike Tyson shared his experience meeting the former president of America. He gushed on the occurrence and also touched on Donald Trump’s son, Barron Trump, who is 6’6 inches tall. The former heavyweight champion mentions the intellect that Barron possesses and the Miami meeting.
On the ‘PED Podcast,’ Mike Tyson was asked about his experience. To which he said:
People don't like him, but Trump is the man. He has his fanbase, he has his supporters and they gotta stick with him to the end. I've never had a bad moment with him. I became very profited from him, great relationship. In Mar-a-Lago, me, him [Donald Trump], and Barron Trump. They were saying this kid is autistic. The retired fighter supposedly had a wonderful experience with the former president, despite the recent allegations against him. Trump was recently accused of r*pe by American journalist E. Jean Carroll, saying the incident took place two decades ago.
Donald Trump stood up for Mike Tyson amidst the assault allegations
During the peak of his career, former heavyweight champion, Mike Tyson was accused of r*pe in 1991 by model Desiree Washington. Although he vehemently denied the accusations, the fighter was convicted of the crime and was found guilty. He was sent to prison for six years upon allegedly committing the heinous act. The fighter’s public image and reputation were tarnished amidst the allegations. The once-beloved fighter quickly became one of the most hated people in America.
However, the former President of the United States, Donald Trump, spoke in his support during the trial. He said, “This guy [Mike Tyson] is in jail for six years. I think it’s wrong. He has one of the worst defense lawyers I have ever seen.” Following the rant on a talk show, he was criticized for his statement.
Mike Tyson and Donald Trump seemingly share a special relationship. Both personalities can be witnessed speaking out in support of each other during their controversies. Despite the cruel accusations, Tyson and Trump have large and dedicated fan bases to support them despite the heinous crimes they are accused of.
