Tyson Fury and Francis Ngannou clashed in a boxing ring at the ‘Battle of the Baddest’ bout in Riyad, Saudi Arabia. After the fight ended, Mike Tyson expressed his opinion about the controversial split decision. Before his fight with Fury was announced, Ngannou acquired Tyson as his coach and cornerman. Furthermore, Ngannou was doubted by many boxing experts, but after training with him, Tyson had faith in Ngannou’s potential. Tyson worked hard for weeks, teaching Ngannou the basics of boxing and working on Ngannou’s fighting spirit.

Subsequently, Ngannou was given the gift of Tyson’s wisdom and fought ‘The Gypsy King’ with all his heart and strength. In the third round, Ngannou stunned the crowd by knocking down Fury with a powerful and precise lead hook that dropped Fury to the canvas. However, Ngannou lost the bout via split decision, and Tyson still congratulated Ngannou on his Instagram by stating:

Even though Ngannou put up a great fight in his boxing debut, Fury won the fight via split decision. Alan Krebs and Juan Carlos Pelayo scored the fight in Fury’s favor, while Ed Garner scored it in Ngannou’s favor. Nevertheless, Ngannou silenced all his doubters and haters with his impressive performance.

Even though it didn’t go how he wanted it to, Mike Tyson was still proud of Ngannou’s performance. Subsequently, Ngannou could fight ten rounds with one of the greatest undefeated heavyweight boxers ever. Ngannou has a bright future in boxing if he keeps on improving.

The former UFC heavyweight champion blew everyone’s expectations out of the water with his performance against Fury. Subsequently, the Cameroonian fighter didn’t get the win, though, as Fury won the fight by a controversial split decision.

Before the fight, Ngannou immediately established himself as a contender to challenge Fury’s undefeated record. Even though Fury was a great boxer, it was clear that Ngannou was the juggernaut that could KO him. In addition, Tyson gave his honest opinion on the fight in a ringside interview with MMA Junkie. Tyson was asked about the match, and he stated: “

No, it wasn’t a robbery because everybody knows the outcome.

Even though the whole boxing world had written off the fight as a simple win for Fury, Mike was among the few who had faith in the fighter’s potential. Subsequently, even after Ngannou lost, Tyson was satisfied with his performance.
