On his podcast ‘Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson,’ ‘Iron’ was joined by American rapper French Montana and Angie Martinez. The former heavyweight champion went on to talk about sleeping with the pet tigers. The people in the room were shocked following the reveal. Tyson said, “He’s in one bed, I’m in another and one’s at the foot. But that’s nothin’. Sometimes, they’re fighting in the bed. When you wake up, you see these 600-pound cats fighting in the bed.

They’re fighting ’cause’ one of them wants to get closer to me,” said Mike Tyson. He continued, “They bit me once because I gave them a tetanus shot. He didn’t want to but it was hurting. They wanted me to stop.” Tyson’s reveal of his pet tiger biting him came as a surprise to the co-host. The courage to own such tigers was a part of ‘Iron’s life that no one can forget.

On ‘The Joe Rogan Experience,’ the UFC commentator Joe Rogan and comedian Tom Segura joined Mike Tyson for a conversation. Segura was intrigued by the former heavyweight champion domesticating wild tigers. ‘Iron’ revealed the process of owning wild tigers in his mansion in the episode.

“I’m in prison at the time. I’m talking to my car dealer. He has some car that belongs to a friend of mine,” said Mike Tyson. He continued, “And, if he doesn’t pay, Imma sell these cars to somebody and get horses. Cause I had a lot of cars, I could get some horses too. He said ‘You can get cougars, lions, tigers.‘” Mike Tyson shortly requested to own tigers instead of horses.
