Mike Tyson once talked about the legendary Michael Jackson on his podcast. He was in conversation with Michael Jackson’s son, Prince Jackson about the impact his father had on the world.
After his retirement, Mike Tyson occupies himself with his several business ventures and his podcast. Subsequently, in an episode of Tyson’s podcast with his guest, Michael Jackson‘s son Prince Jackson, the conversation quickly turned to MJ’s legacy. As such, Tyson stated, “Listen everybody thought he was changing his skin because he wanted to be white. He was changing it because he wanted to glow. He wanted to be a light, he wanted to shine yeah.”
Hence, Tyson debunked the misconception that Michael changed his skin color so that his music was widely accepted. Furthermore, Tyson stated that Michael wanted to shine like the light and did not focus on his skin color as much as it is speculated.
Subsequently, Tyson told Prince that his father personally revealed this fact about his skin color transformation. In addition, Tyson went on to describe Jackson’s unique perspective on the world, which few were able to comprehend.
