An interviewer with Newsmax asked Mike Tyson about his opinion on political matters. Mike Tyson started grinning while he stated that he didn’t like talking about it. This is because his friends and family tend not to like it when he shares his opinions on politics.

He revealed his younger version was more of a liberalist than a conservative. However, as he grew older, his personal views shifted toward the conservative side. “When I was younger, I was all-out liberal. But as I get older, and I look at my children, and I see what’s out there in the world, I get a little conservative” (H/T- Newsmax). He justified his change of views as being caused by the state of the world, which makes you want safety more than anything.
