On his podcast Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson, ‘Iron’ invites guests who are fighters, rappers, and celebrities from other avenues. The nature of each episode consists of a calm environment as they smoke marijuana and discuss various topics. This time, the former heavyweight champion had Ohio rapper Trippie Redd on the show to discuss his music career and other current events. However, the conversation took a turn when Redd brought a huge blunt.
To be measured, the blunt was as large as Trippie Redd’s forearm. The rapper referred to it as the ‘Tyson Blunt.’ “It’s called ‘The Tyson,’ bigger than his mother******* head,” said Redd as people in the studio chuckled. “Here we go, Tyson against Tyson,” said ‘Iron’ as he smoked the colossal blunt. “It’s beautiful,” said Mike. The chemistry between the rapper and the former heavyweight champion was unexpected as this became a fan-favorite episode on the podcast.

He revealed the benefits it brought the fighter and how it helped him overcome mental health struggles.
“Well, it’s a part of my life because I’ve been in like nine psych wards. I used to smoke all the time and I stopped for like 18 years. And, for those 18 years, I was drinking like an animal. I started using pot a few years ago, and my whole life changed. Using cannabis only rises me to my highest potential. When I do cannabis, I don’t do to relax, I do to think. Constant working of the mind,” said Tyson.
Calling it ‘The Peace Pipe,’ it is evident that Mike Tyson has had a lot of good memories throughout his cannabis intake. Tyson’s endeavor following his retirement has been a wild ride. From successful businesses to hosting his own show, Tyson had come a long way from his controversies in the past.
