When the fight was initially announced, it sent waves through the sporting world, with Francis Ngannou surprising everyone by reaching out to Mike Tyson to be a part of his fight week preparations.

However, Tyson doesn’t think he’s the trainer; instead, he calls himself the coach. “I’m not a trainer. I’m a coach,” Tyson told GQ in an interview. 

“A trainer can be bought by anybody. ‘Train this guy. Hey, train this guy. I’m a coach. I’m loyal to my guy. When he gets beat up, I feel the punches. When he’s hitting, knocking out a motherfucker, I feel the victory applause."

John Fury is infamous for his press conference appearances at his son’s fighting events and this time it was no different. He went on a rant and called out Tyson for a fight. He mentioned that he holds no fear for any mortal, regardless of their achievements or accolades. His sole fear is of a higher power, God Almighty.
