Jake Paul was supposed to fight Hasim Rahman Jr at the iconic Madison Square Garden arena on August 6. Everything was decided and was going smoothly until suddenly the fight was called off as Rahman failed to make the required weight. After this incident Paul told his fans that he was shocked and didn’t expect anything like this to take place.

UFC president, Dana White who always had internet beef with Paul was recently asked about his thoughts on the fight cancellation. While responding to the question, White claimed that Paul and his team dissolved the fight as they didn’t sell enough tickets. He said :

“I think they sold under $1million in tickets, and it costs $500,000 to turn the fing lights on at MSG. That’s what I think,” White said. “Not to mention: Hotel rooms in New York and transportation and everything else is very expensive. I will say this, just because you were an accountant here, doesn’t mean you know what the f goes on here,”

“More gates than Ryan Garcia” – Nakisa Bidarian claims Jake Paul’s fight sold more tickets than Ryan Garcia ‘did at Staples center’

After Dana White made those claims about Jake Paul selling less tickets than expected, Nakisa Bidarian posted a series of Instagram stories.

In the short clip, Bidarian confirmed that Paul already outsold Ryan Garcia just did at Staples Center. Bidarian explained that Paul was taking a huge task fighting at 205 considering he is most comfortable around 190 pounds. Bidarian threw shade on White and the media who, according to Bidarian, are trying to ruin Paul’s credentials. In the end, the co-founder of Most Valuable Promotions, revealed that he is extremely proud that Paul is not under anybody.

“Had zero to do with ticket sales. We already sold more tickets, more gate than Ryan Garcia just did at Staples Center. We were going to be top-10 in gates since 2005 at MSG. Jake Paul was taking a big challenge. All of his fights have been from about 188 to 191 pounds, and all of his opponents — outside Nate Robinson — have been plus or minus one to two pounds of him. That’s all it is. They can try and change the narrative, they can try to destroy what this young man has done. I’m proud of him. He’s his own boss. He’s his own promoter, and I’m just an accountant. What’s up?,” said Bidarian.

It’s true that Paul along with Bidarian have taken MVP to new levels which nobody would have expected. Paul himself is not abiding with any contract and fights and makes deals for himself. Nevertheless, Paul has already revealed that he is going to choose another opponent and the fans will be able to see him fight soon.
