Naoya Inoue reacts to burglary at his house

Naoya Inoue might have had a wonderful fight against his veteran rival but the boxer came out of his boxing match to the shocking news of his house being robbed in Japan.

Naoya Inoue and Nonito Donaire took part in one of the most amazing rematches. The unbeaten Japanese boxer fought Donaire in an amazing rematch to make his fourth title defense as the unified bantamweight champion. The fight took place yesterday at the Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan.

While Inoue was busy taking down reigning WBC champion Donaire in the exciting rematch, more than 12 expensive bags and several pieces of jewelry were stolen from the 23-0 boxer’s house near Tokyo, yesterday evening. No further information was provided by the local police about the robbery. The robbers took the champion boxer away from his home to their advantage and planned their burglary. Two men, suspected to be the criminals were seen running away from the house of the champion.

After Inoue beat Donaire in their rematch, the fighter took time to react to this shocking news on Twitter. “I saw the news, but on a happy day, it’s a bad story, isn’t it? Everyone should be careful!!” wrote Naoya Inoue on Twitter in reaction to the burglary at his home near Tokyo.

Inoue was the favorite to enter the fight and won the fight via a second-round technical knockout. Nonito got absolutely battered by the unified bantamweight champion as he got knocked down in the very round. In the second round, Inoue once again rocked his opponent with an amazing left hook before he drowned Donaire with a flurry of punches. Despite the amazing win, Inoue will also now have to deal with the robbery that took place in his hometown.

The bantamweight champion has 23 wins and 0 losses. All of his wins except three have come by knockouts making him one of the most dominant fighters. Inoue now looks to become the undisputed champion and also has hinted at a move up the weight division to attain another belt.
