MMA superstar Nate Diaz attempted to use his wrestling and submission skills against Jake Paul in a boxing bout in Dallas, Texas.

Nate Diaz made his boxing debut against the “The Problem Child” Jake Paul in Dallas, Texas. The bout was scheduled for ten rounds in one of the most high-profile boxing bouts of the year. Paul aimed to bounce back from his first career loss in February against Tommy Fury. After ten rounds of action, Jake Paul won a decision against Nate Diaz. Nevertheless, Nate Diaz tried to submit Jake Paul with a guillotine choke in a boxing bout.

Despite the boxing rules, Nate Diaz attempted a single-leg and a guillotine choke in the fight. He also entertained the fans more than any other fighters in Dallas. Leading into the bout, Diaz seemed uninterested throughout the buildup to the bout. He had a slow start to the bout but picked up after the fifth round.

Paul went on the offensive, and Diaz took his time to get adjusted to the fight. Diaz has a history of slow starts against his opponents in the UFC. Paul hurt Diaz in the first round and knocked him down in the fifth. Diaz landed the better strike toward the last three rounds. However, it was not enough, as Paul won a decision on the scorecard.

After the bout, Paul once again extended his invitation to Diaz to compete in an MMA bout. He offered Diaz $10 million for the MMA bout in PFL. Diaz seemed to accept the fight, but only time will if Diaz competes in an MMA bout against Paul. The future remains uncertain for Diaz, but Paul wants to rematch Tommy Fury.
