Nate Diaz put Jake Paul in a guillotine choke

The much-anticipated fight between Jake Paul and Nate Diaz was one of the most entertaining boxing events. The fight did not disappoint in terms of performance as both Diaz and Paul showed up for the fight in a confident demeanor to win. The fight was also very entertaining for the fans as Diaz entertained the crowd throughout the fight.

Diaz also jokingly showed off some of his MMA moves while fighting Paul. When asked about a potential fight against Paul in MMA during the fight Diaz said “Let’s do that co-promotion, a real fight. I had the single leg in the first and the choke in the ninth. So I already won that battle”. Diaz attempted a guillotine choke in the ninth round which cracked up the crowd and fans.

Paul said after the fight “I want to run it back in MMA, make it fair now it’s your chance in your home territory”. Paul has offered Diaz $10 million to fight him in the PFL and is confident that he will be able to face Diaz in a MMA match. He also signed for the PFL earlier this year. Diaz entertained fans throughout the fight and showed his classic Stockton gangster aura throughout the fight.

Diaz fought a tough fight, but he was simply outgunned by Paul. Diaz is still a dangerous fighter and was the more powerful puncher. He was not able to land enough of his punches to win the fight. Fans will be looking forward to the rematch between them in the Octagon soon.

Nate Diaz talks about how boxing is different from a “real fight”

Diaz is well-known for his involvement in street brawls. Diaz is confident that despite his loss to Paul, he will be able to dominate his opponent in a real fight. During their match, his ability to catch Paul in a guillotine choke boosted his confidence.

During the post-fight press conference, Diaz was asked about how he would do in a real fight to which he replied “This is not a real fight, this is a boxing competition” referencing him choking out a Logan Paul look-alike for messing with him in New Orleans.

The fight was a success, with over 1 million pay-per-view buys. It was also a major victory for both Paul and Diaz as they solidified their status as some of the biggest names in the fighting industry. Fans will look forward to seeing more of Nate Diaz fighting in the future.
