$100,000,000 worth NBA superstar calls out Tyson Fury for using illegal MMA move against Francis Ngannou in boxing match

The controversial split decision in Tyson Fury‘s favor over the weekend is being called a robbery by many fans, celebrities, and experts. Similarly, American basketball player Damian Lillard, who is a fight enthusiast, also reacted to the controversial results of the fight.

Furthermore, after expressing his shock to the referees, Lillard shared a clip of Tyson’s low hit during the fight. An elbow hit is illegal in boxing, unlike MMA, and Lillard shared the clip by stating on X:

Hence, Lillard holds the opinion that Fury intentionally struck Ngannou with his elbow and thinks it was not a mistake.

Ngannou came into the fight as a massive underdog since Fury was the prohibitive favorite for the bout. Hence, a lot of people thought that Ngannou did not have a chance of beating the undefeated heavyweight champion. However, Ngannou proved everyone wrong when he knocked out the lineal heavyweight champ in the third round.

That’s why many people believe that “The Predator” was robbed of a win due to the corrupt system of boxing. Even though Ngannou lost the fight in a controversial split decision, Ngannou was named the people’s champion for his performance.

Dmitry Bivol says Oleksandr Usyk can beat Tyson Fury

When Fury was first announced as the opponent of Nggannou, many thought the fight would be a mismatch. People thought the fight would be a cakewalk for Fury since he is an undefeated heavyweight champion. However, once the fight began, it became clear that the fight wouldn’t be a walk in the park for Fury.

Initially, Fury was able to set the pace, but Ngannou kept pressuring him and disrupting his flow in the fight. Hence, it is indisputable that Fury disappointed the boxing fans and experts with his underwhelming performance against Ngannou. Furthermore, it appears that Dmitry Bivol was among those who were perplexed by Fury’s poor performance.

Subsequently, Bivol reacted to Fury’s performance by stating that he did not fight well at all. In addition, Bivol stated that Oleksandr Usyk can easily beat the current Fury in their heavyweight unification bout if Fury does not go through a proper training camp.
