Anthony Joshua’s rematch with heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk is confirmed and both fighters will face each other in Saudi Arabia on August 20. Joshua lost his last fight against Usyk by a unanimous decision and will now look to regain the WBA, WBO and IBF titles. Both fighters fought each other for the first time in London last year, and Usyk dominated Joshua through his superior boxing.

Joshua has leveled up his practice after the defeat and has even started working with American trainer Robert Garcia. Usyk had been serving his country in the war that they are currently in against Russia, but he left the country to train for the rematch against Joshua. Usyk and Joshua both are Olympic gold medalists and have achieved amazing things inside the ring.

Recently, Oleksandr was seen in Saudi Arabia for the shooting of the promo of the rematch fight and Oleksandr was greeted by his fans on the location. Usyk enjoyed the moment and even danced with his fans before leaving for the shoot. Usyk seemed confident about his fight against Joshua and he was now relaxing before his fight on August 20.

Anthony Joshua and Oleksandr Usyk are ready to fight each other for the heavyweight title on August 20 in Saudi Arabia. Both fighters met each other for the first time after their fight in September last year in London. Both fighters attended a press conference to preview their rematch in Saudi Arabia.

Both fighters shared a long and intense face off at the end of the event and both fighters refused to blink. Even the fight promoter, Eddie Hearn, made two attempts to get the fighters to face the front for photos, but neither budged. Anthony talked about the rematch during the press conference and he was confident he will defeat Usyk to regain the titles.

Anthony’s loss against Usyk was the second loss in his career, whereas Oleksandr has been undefeated in his boxing career. Usyk has a professional record of 19 wins and zero losses, and Anthony has a professional record of 24 wins and 2 losses. Anthony’s only other loss came against Andy Ruiz Jr. in 2019.
