The famous streamer Adin Ross has recently entered the world of celebrity boxing as a promoter. As such, Ross started his very own boxing promotion company called Brand Risk Promotions. They hosted their very first boxing event on March 23. It was controversial since Misfits Boxing also had an event on the same day. However, this rivalry between the celebrity boxing promotions has been cut short.
This happened after the Florida Boxing Commission banned Brand Risk Promotions from hosting boxing events. The boxing event featured Jaydvn, Xevopat, Snagz, Hatecaps, Chibu, Donj, and others. Furthermore, Ross revealed that one of them allegedly suffered brain damage and complained about it.
One of those fat f**ks got, like, brain damage and complained. I don't even know if they complained. The f**king commission, they basically got mad.Adin Ross via Kick
Ross remained unsure whether or not someone received CTE because of the event. However, it caught the Florida Boxing Commission’s attention, which then banned Brand Risk Promotions. The situation is not dire since the ban only restricts the promotion of hosting future boxing events in the state. As such, Ross has a couple of options to pursue.
Either they have to do kickboxing or book MMA events. Furthermore, he stated that he would prefer to do kickboxing events because MMA will require them to change many things, like building an octagon. Adin Ross will get his Kickstream chat to decide this. Kickboxing is not as prevalent as boxing or MMA in the US. Hence, it might give Ross an opportunity to make a legitimate impact.
KSI threatens to slap Adin Ross
Ross stepping into the celebrity boxing game obviously put him at odds with KSI. Furthermore, to make matters worse, Ross hosted the boxing event on the same day as the Misfits boxing event. Brand Risk Promotions did this even though they were threatened with a legal case.
Furthermore, KSI spoke about this rivalry on the What’s Good Podcast. The YouTuber-turned-boxer stated that he would slap Ross if he ever saw him again. He also called him a d**khead because his fans were accused of snubbing the event. KSI did not mind the competitive rivalry but did not appreciate the ‘snubbing incident.’
KSI had also wanted to start a Misfits Boxing Kick Stream, but now he does not want to be associated with Kick because of Ross. He also fired shots at Ross for acting like he is a big member of Kick when he only has a tiny minority share of the platform. It seems like Ross and KSI will continue to be at odds due to the recent incidents.
