Boxing icon Floyd Mayweather’s grandson Kentrell Jr has already started showing signs of carrying forward his grandfather’s legacy in the ring. The 2-year-old has already surprised netizens with his shadowboxing alongside Mayweather. With Floyd Mayweather having huge success in the sport of boxing, many believe his grandson will follow the same path. However, Kentrell Jr’s father, famous rapper NBA YoungBoy has already decided what sport his son would join.
Floyd Mayweather’s daughter Yaya Mayweather was previously in a tumultuous relationship with rapper NBA YoungBoy. The duo also gave birth to a kid during the span of their relationship but broke up soon after. Due to Yaya Mayweather’s stabbing incident, YoungBoy had to call off his relationship and parted ways with Mayweather family. Despite all that, both are trying their best to co-parent their son Kentrell.
Meanwhile, Floyd Mayweather is pampering his grandson and making sure Kentrell does not miss out on anything. The undefeated fighter was spotted on several outings with his grandson. He even walked out with Kentrell Jr. for his bout against John Gotti III. Kentrell Jr. also picked up some of his grandfather’s boxing skills as he shadow-boxed in recent clips. With Floyd’s influence in the world of boxing, many believed Kentrell Jr. will join Mayweather’s promotion as a boxer when he grows up.
However, his father NBA YoungBoy has different plans for his kid. YoungBoy during one of his interviews, stated that his son would be a UFC fighter. YoungBoy clearly has bigger things planned out for his kid. With his wealth and Mayweather’s connections Kentrell Jr. will receive the best training facilities possible in any sport he pursues.

Boxing icon Floyd Mayweather has finally found someone to carry his legacy in the ring and he did not have to search for it. The former five-division world champion’s grandson is surprising everyone with his shadowboxing skills. Clips of the 2-year-old whipping out some moves during a training session have gone viral and fans can’t seem to get enough of it.
Kentrell Jr was born to Mayweather’s eldest daughter Yaya Mayweather and famous American rapper NBA YoungBoy. While the duo have been long separated, they are giving their best at co-parenting Kentrell Jr. Apart from his parents, Floyd Mayweather is pampering his grandson beyond measure. Mayweather was spotted with his grandson at several outings and also during his training sessions.
In another video, Kentrell Jr. was also seen shadowboxing on a kitchen platform alongside his mother. At only 2 years old Mayweather’s grandson has astonished everyone with his shadowboxing skills. With his grandfather’s influence in the sport, many believe Kentrell Jr. might sign with Mayweather’s promotion in the future.
