Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao have had a long-standing rivalry, both in and out of the boxing ring. Mayweather has made various comments about Pacquiao throughout their careers, especially before their massive PPV fight in 2015. One of the main allegations that Mayweather threw at Pacquaio was the alleged use of PEDs, or steroids, for fighting.
Subsequently, Joe Rogan also spoke about this subject during an episode of the ‘Joe Rogan Experience’ podcast. It is well known that Pacquiao has had a remarkable career in boxing, with numerous accomplishments. Pacquiao is the only boxer in history to win world titles in eight different weight divisions. He achieved championships in the flyweight, super bantamweight, featherweight, super featherweight, lightweight, light welterweight, welterweight, and light middleweight divisions.
Furthermore, while discussing Pacquiao’s accomplishments with Dr. Andrew Huberman, Joe Rogan brought up Pacquiao’s alleged steroid use. Subsequently, Huberman stated:
We are miles behind what other countries are doing in terms of hormone augmentation and sports performance.https://youtu.be/K-ZwXy2YxPk
Hence, Huberman stated that countries overseas have a vast knowledge of plant compounds and how they affect the human body. Furthermore, Huberman did not want to admit it, but apparently, the USA is far behind these countries in this aspect. Subsequently, Huberman wanted to imply that countries overseas partake in such activities because of their vast botanical knowledge.
In addition, since the USA is miles away from understanding these compounds, they are miles away from detecting them. Furthermore, the conversation they put forward was that Pacquaio could have been using such methods to enhance his knockout power across several weight classes.
Manny Pacquiao wanted to come on the Joe Rogan Experience podcast
Pacquiao, the retired eight-division champion of the world, has offered to be a guest on Joe Rogan’s popular podcast, “The Joe Rogan Experience”. The Filipino star posted on X that he would “love” to be a guest after listening to Rogan’s interview with Pacquiao’s training partner, George Kambosos Jr.

Furthermore, during the interview with Kambosos, the UFC commentator asked him how he ended up in Pacquiao’s training camp. Subsequently, Kambosos stated that he just got a call from Freddie Roach to help Pacquiao train for his fight against Jeff Horn.
Upon hearing this, Kambosos was ecstatic and considered this the opportunity of a lifetime. During the interview, both Kambosos and Rogan had several praises for the eight-division champion.
Subsequently, Pacquiao saw the interview and posted a tweet on X in which he thanked Rogan for his kind words. Furthermore, Pacquiao also expressed an interest in coming to the podcast and discussing leadership issues inside and outside the ring.
