Gervonta Davis and Ryan Garcia
Ryan Garcia is one of the biggest name in boxing right now. Ryan is not only an excellent boxer, but he has a huge social media following because of his active posts and challenges that he posts online. Garcia has been pushing for a fight with Gervonta for the last few years and he has not changed his stance now. Garcia is currently 23 and turned pro very early, at 17. Since his professional debut in 2016, Ryan has an undefeated professional record of 22 wins and zero losses.
Ryan has been looking to fight Gervonta for the last two years and both came very close to fight each other many times. However, the fight didn’t materialize, and both fought different opponents. Ryan has again called out Gervonta Davis after Davis’s victory against Rolando Romero. Davis defended his WBA lightweight title on 28th May and knocked out Romero in the 6th round of the fight.
In a recent interview with Sports Illustrated, Ryan talked about his fight with Gervonta and he believes he will go at war against him when they fight. Ryan said: “I will go to war to fight Tank. I’m ready to do whatever I got to do, because at the end of the day that fight is going to get me my respect, and I think I deserve that. So I’m up for the challenge. I’m very confident of beating him.”

Ryan Garcia will fight Javier Fortuna on July 16 in Los Angeles and after Haney’s victory, Garcia will look for an impressive win to earn a title shot against him soon. Both fighters fought each other in their amateur days and in the four encounters they had, both have won two times against each other.
