“Send me your info”- Ryan Garcia forced to part with $20,000 to Errol Spence after betting against Gervonta Davis

The young lions of boxing made a friendly bet worth $20k
Ryan Garcia had a tough weekend all around. From reports of him being booed while he was shown on the big screen at the Gervonta Davis vs Rolando Romero fight to then losing $20000 later in the night due to a spontaneous bet he placed with fellow boxer Errol Spence, the lightweight has certainly seen better days.
However, the 23-year-old was always a good sport about the hate he received and in this case the bets he loses. To recap, Garcia was seen in the front row seats at the Davis vs Romero fight for the WBA Lightweight title, where he was seated alongside fellow boxer and unified Welterweight Champion, Errol Spence Jr. The duo placed ring-side bets on the outcome of the main event with Garcia predicting a victory for heavy under-dog, Rolando Romero.
In his pre-fight prediction backstage, the lightweight seemed pretty confident in his assessment saying, “I’m going for Rolly for the win, y’all looking at me like I’m tripping,” elaborating his stance by saying he believed if the fight were to end within the first 9 rounds, it would be by a Romero KO, anything past the ninth would be in Davis’ favor either by decision or a knockout. “If I’m being honest, I’d say Rolly in 2,” said the young star before walking away to take his seats.

Garcia’s prediction couldn’t have been further from the truth as the fight did end inside 9 rounds but it wasn’t a Romero KO, instead he was the one on the receiving end of a devastating blow at the hands of “The Tank.” Though Romero made it back to his feet leading to a standing 10 count, The referee deemed him unfit to continue calling the fight for Gervonta Davis.
Spence went on to post a video of them placing the bet, with the caption, “That shit turned bad for ya man’s quick” tagging Garcia who can be heard saying, “I’ll pay you sh*t tomorrow.” In the comments, however, Garcia came through asking Spence to send him his wire info, prompting Errol to reply with a respectful, “My Man”
Garcia now has potential opponents in Vasyl Lomachenko and Gervonta Davis who have both called him out after the Mandatory against Devin Haney was called off.
