At just 25 years old, Ryan Garcia has already made a name for himself as a professional boxer. However, it appears that he has a backup plan in case boxing doesn’t work out for him. Right now, KingRy is scheduled to take on his childhood rival, Devin Haney, for the WBC Super-lightweight title on April 20. The two have been training hard for this fight, which will mark the seventh time they have stepped into the ring together.

Since then, there have been several questions about Garcia’s physical and mental health leading up to the fight. These questions have been raised mainly because he has had mental breakdowns on social media and has been drinking alcohol and smoking marijuana during training camp. In addition, this has caused some to think that he might lose the fight against the laser-focused Haney. In an interview with ‘Full Send Podcast’, Garcia was asked what his plans would be if he lost the fight and he said:

I could play the guitar, I could play the piano, I could sing, I could rap. I could do it all.

Subsequently, KingRy stated that if he did lose, he said he would sign with Universal Records. Therefore, Ryan Garcia will try his hand at music if he has to discontinue his professional boxing career.
