Ryan Garcia‘s rise in professional boxing has been nothing short of extraordinary. ‘King Ry’ was the WBC interim lightweight champion until 2021 and has remained a top boxer in the lightweight division. Furthermore, The young boxer also had the biggest PPV boxing event of 2023 when he fought Gervonta Davis. As such, his success in the ring has led him to secure bigger fights, with even bigger paychecks. As such, Garcia is now set to fight Devin Haney on April 20.

Haney will make his first title defense of the WBC super-lightweight title after his victory over Regis Prograis. In addition, the fight has been having quite the buildup with Haney’s trash talk and Garcia’s erratic behavior. Until now, Ryan Garcia‘s fight with Davis was his biggest payday, but his fight with Haney will be even more lucrative according to him. As such, during an interview with Bobbi Althoff, Garcia stated:

My next fight, I'm going to get $50 million. I've already made $41 million in my career at 25 years old.

Garcia had previously revealed that he would have earned about $80-100 million after his fight with Haney. However, now ‘King Ry’ has announced that his fight purse for the bout in April is $50 million. This is considerable since Garcia received $30 million in his fight against Davis, which secured a revenue of $100 million.

Hence, Garcia earned $30 million from his current earnings of $41 million from a single fight. The tickets for the fight have been selling very well, with 10,000 tickets already being sold at the 19k-capacity venue.

Subsequently, Garcia also claimed that he had evidence of UFOs and aliens and various other conspiracy theories. However, now he has made the absurd claim that he has evidence of his opponent allegedly doing questionable acts with another man.

Hence, Garcia stated that Haney is allegedly homosexual and has previously associated Haney with Diddy. This also gained significant attention because Diddy has a similar reputation for being homosexual and has sexual assault charges against him.
