Ryan Garcia recently became a controversial combat sports figure. It all started with allegations of cocaine use ahead of the Devin Haney fight. However, Garcia denied using cocaine. A few days later, the controversy went to another level when rumors surfaced he was dead. Later, Ryan Garcia uploaded a video to clarify what happened.

Recently, Garcia spoke to Andrew Tate and attempted to expose ‘the elites’ who abducted him. Garcia also claimed to have evidence to prove it as well. This behavior made fans worry about the young boxer. The concerns from the fanbase caused Ryan Garcia to issue another announcement. This is what he said:

I am not going to speak on any other topic other than boxing, sports, and my fight.

It is high time that ‘King RY’ should start his training camp for the upcoming fight. Competing against Devin Haney is no easy task. Nevertheless, Garcia stated that he would only focus on his upcoming fight in the video he uploaded. He also would not engage in discussion about any conspiracy moving forward. Garcia stated that he would dedicate the next five weeks to training

Despite having caused multiple controversies recently, boxing fans remain interested in the Garcia vs. Haney title fight. The duo will compete for the WBC super lightweight title. Garcia and his antics have increased interest in the title fight on April 20 at the Barclays Center in New York. Only time will tell if the bout proceeds as planned or another obstacle stumbles the fight.

Rolando Romero speaks about Ryan Garcia

Rolando Romero was supposed to fight Garcia. However, that fight didn’t materialize, and he decided to fight Isaac Cruz instead. Rolly Romero claimed Isaac Cruz was the best option for him as he was superior to Garcia. This led to the duo beefing online.

Since then, Garcia shifted his focus to Haney. In the aftermath of Garcia’s recent controversies, Romero once again discussed ‘King RY.’ However, this time, he did not trash Garcia but showed empathy. Rolly Romero felt Garcia was going through a tough time, and no one should joke about it. He asked the fans to stop slandering Garcia as the whole ordeal might be a cry for help.

Romero suggested that some of Garcia’s statements might be true even if he wasn’t in the right mental headspace. When Romero was asked if the fight would happen, he stated that Garcia did not need to do the fight. As such, Romero stated that Garcia is rich, just fought in December, and should take some time off.
