The highly anticipated clash between Devin Haney and Ryan Garcia is now only a month away. Without a doubt, the buildup of this fight was way different compared to Garcia’s previous fights. Furthermore, things went way beyond trash-talking, and fans got to witness KingRY having a mental breakdown online. This, of course, led people to be concerned about whether or not Garcia would be able to fight on April 20.
However, Garcia has maintained that he has been training and that the fight will move forward as planned. The 25-year-old has been regularly uploading clips of his training camp to show fans he is serious. However, this has not been working as per Garcia’s plans, as most fans are completely unimpressed. Furthermore, Garcia recently uploaded a video of his shadowboxing, stating:

In the video, KingRy can be seen shadowboxing with an awkward stance with horrible footwork. As the caption suggests, Ryan Garcia is indulging in ‘slow-motion shadowboxing’, which is not a real thing in the sport. However, Garcia appears to be trying to simulate a close-range fight while attempting to land punches from different angles.
Before this, fans got to witness several underwhelming clips of the 25-year-old’s training camp. In most of the videos, the young boxer appears to be taking things easy and is mostly seen fooling around. Furthermore, in most clips, his coach, Derrick James, appears to be fed up with Garcia’s shenanigans at training camp.
Fans react to Ryan Garcia’s video
It is highly debatable whether or not Garia will have to pull out of the fight or not. This is mainly because of his concerning social media posts, which brought attention to the NY boxing commission. However, regardless of these hurdles, Garcia has maintained that he intends to fight. Hence, in an attempt to prove his seriousness, Garcia has been uploading several questionable training clips.
Subsequently, the clips are supposed to make fans feel confident about his upcoming performance, but they are doing the opposite. As such, fans reacted to the video by stating:

Fans trolled Garcia by stating that he had already lost the fight to Devin Haney with this level of preparation. In addition, fans remarked about how Garcia’s coach appears to be frustrated with him. Fans further went on to claim that the young boxer is drunk, which is why he is shadowboxing in slow motion.
