OnlyFans is a platform that helps a lot of creators make a career out of it. So, it is no surprise when fighters capitalize on the market of adult filmography that garners a lot of attention. Such was the case for combat sports athlete Sammy-Jo Luxton. The fighter recently revealed that the platform was helpful to her fighting career.
In an interview with ‘Boxing Social,’ Sammy-Jo Luxton took a deep dive into her experiences on the platform. The interaction with fans, her growing personality, and her career were talked about in the interview. “I’ve started pushing my social media,” said the British fighter, referencing her popular handles. She then touched on the fan reception. “I usually reply to all my messages. I love connecting with people who are asking questions,” said ‘Ghetto Cinderella.’
“But, as I’m growing as a fighter and as a personality, and, I couldn’t reply to all of them. So, to create an OnlyFans, it was just the space where I could connect with the true fans who were really wanting to help me push,” said Luxton. She then went into detail about OnlyFans helping her career in boxing. “Because all of the proceeds I get from that, I’m putting into my fighting. So, they’re technically helping my fighting career,” said the British contender.
“So, I’ve now been able to get a place in Manchester, closer to the gym. So, I’m about to level up with the help from my fans,” said Sammy-Jo Luxton. The British fighter felt the need to start an OnlyFans account to connect with the supporters. Granted, the platform also helped her career as a boxer to elevate into stardom.
Sammy-Jo Luxton talks about her transition to MMA

British fighter Sammy-Jo Luxton started her career off as a Muay Thai fighter. Known as ‘Ghetto Cinderella,’ Luxton transitioned into MMA and recently signed with the PFL. She also fought in the undercard of Floyd Mayweather vs Aaron Chalmers. In an interview with the popular boxing YouTube channel ‘IFL TV,’ the fighter touched on the hardships of transitioning.
“I started Muay Thai. I’ve been doing that for twelve years. Did a little bit of boxing to help with the Muay Thai. Ended up getting offered a fight on the Mayweather card. I’ve signed up for PFL now. I was a little bit scared at first. But, I’ve taken the clinch side of things. So, taking it to the ground, I seem to be picking it up quite fast and I’ve just moved to Manchester Top Team. So, I’ve been thrown in the deep end and picking it up a lot quicker,” said Luxton.
Fighting in Floyd Mayweather’s card is a great step ahead for an up-and-coming fighter. Sammy-Jo Luxton’s boxing and PFL career seem to be in a good state as the fighter is training and gearing up for her superstardom.
