In recent tweets, Crawford has strongly put forth his intentions to fight Canelo Alvarez in the near future. On the Joe Rogan Experience, Crawford confidently claimed that he can go toe to toe against Canelo.
On the podcast, “Bud” said, “In the past interviews, I was like “Canelo’s too big man, there are weight classes for a reason. But in my mind, in my heart, I don’t think nobody too big. He’s 5’8 and I’m 5’8. He’s bigger than me, but I’m faster“. Further, Bud spoke about going up against Canelo and becoming undisputed could be a perfect finish to his boxing career.
Currently, Alvarez has his hands busy with Jermell Charlo for his super middleweight title defense on September 30. Crawford has already achieved his position as the pound-for-pound king. With many speculated matches arising like Gervonta Davis or a rematch with Spence, Crawford has his eyes set on Canelo.
This fight holds a good probable chance as both fighters are always up for new challenges.
