Texas Athletic Commission stated, “Mr. Diaz will be held to the same rules as everyone else who competes in combative sports events in Texas. The Texas Commission will not tolerate fighters who are consumers of weed. If found guilty, they will receive a 90-day suspension from the ring and a $500 fine.” It remains to be seen if Diaz and Jake Paul can find some loophole for their boxing bout as Diaz will not stop smoking weed.
