Tyson Fury doubles down on retirement

 Tyson Fury successfully defended his WBC heavyweight title by knocking out Dillian Whyte in the sixth round in front of 94,000 fans at Wembley Stadium in London. Fury landed a brutal right uppercut and followed with a shove that sent Whyte immediately to the mat before the referee stepped in to end it early.

After his most recent encounter, Gypsy King hinted about a possible retirement from the sport. He’ll end his career with a remarkable performance before announcing his retirement publicly. Gypsy King’ claimed a possible retirement from the sport after his last bout. He is going out with a memorable performance and then publicly announcing his retirement.

Tyson Fury took to Twitter in which he expressed how he is feeling post his retirement, he states, “Lovely little morning run in the bay. Get up! Sun’s not out but it’s drizzling. I’m very happy to be on the road this morning. Healthy, well and alive. God bless everybody! Just finished a lovely four-mile run along the promanade. Got a great sweat on. Very very happy and content to be retired. It’s been a long time coming. I’m so much enjoying my retirement.”

While Fury has announced his retirement from boxing, that does not mean he will never fight again. ‘The Gypsy King’ summoned UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou to the ring after his victory over Dillian Whyte.

The two men have previously hinted at a possible superfight, but an in-ring conversation between them underlined their intention to see it through. The fight is guaranteed fireworks and most definitely would be a huge spectacle considering the names involved in the bout.
