John Fury daringly called out former world champion Carl Froch, after he spoke about his son on his YouTube channel. Fury also went viral wanting to split rival influencer-boxer KSI‘s head, in an unforgiving rant. He also made a wild callout to Mike Tyson at Riyadh’s Opening Season. One can sense a pattern here; John Fury will go to any lengths of nonsensical trash talks in boxing circles in build-ups of mega fights involving his sons Tyson Fury and Tommy Fury. This has included Anthony Joshua as well.

However, turntables see Joshua and John Fury meeting face-to-face in Riyadh. Tyson, the lineal WBC heavyweight, has long held a rivalry with Brit Anthony Joshua; for which his father has instigated build-ups. Fury must get past WBA, IBF, and WBO world champion, Oleksandr Usyk in May for such a hash-off. Meanwhile, Joshua faces Ex-UFC heavyweight and debutant pro boxing sensation Francis Ngannou.

AJ will take on the former UFC heavyweight in the ‘Knockout Chaos’ headliner in Riyadh. The 10-round heavyweight clash PPV event on DAZN is part of Saudi Arabia’s efforts to extend combat sports culture. It takes place at Kingdom Arena – Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, at 11 a.m. ET. Joshua met Fury, prepping for the same. The footage, somewhat inaudible sees them embrace and AJ says – “I’ve watched everything you’ve said.”

It’s anyone’s guess as to what he means. Along with his jibes, Fury has also hailed him as capable of being a 3-time champion. John Fury even lauded man-on-mission Joshua’s resolve at Riyadh’s ‘Day of Reckoning‘ PPV clash against Swedish heavyweight, Otto Wallin. Fans are thus split on AJ’s intentions in this interaction.

A prime reaction quipped – “John sh**ting himself as soon as he sees somebody he has slagged off relentlessly in the past…:

Others have stated the irony in Fury engaging in immense online trolling and trashing, only to stand on business to a sensational heavyweight and shake on it. A few others have even gone further to insinuate that this only goes to show that trash-talk is all pseudo-build-ups. All in all, the card is shaping up with some interesting occurrences.
