“A battle of Britain” – Tyson Fury gives an opportunity to his nemesis Anthony Joshua to fight for the WBC championship fight

Tyson Fury has sent a new challenge for Anthony Joshua and has asked the former champ for a fight. Right after the title rematch between AJ and Oleksandr Usyk, Fury announced on Twitter that he has decided to come back from retirement. While many fight fans already had expected, nobody thought it would be so early.
After Fury made that tweet, it became clear that the much-awaited heavyweight title unification bout, Usyk vs Fury will finally take place.
Usyk was ready for the fight, however, the Ukrainian wants to take some time and most probably fight next year. But on the other hand, Fury is a little bit restless about his comeback and wants to fight this year. This has opened up opportunities for some new match-ups that are equally exciting.

“We can rumble”- Tyson Fury belives Anthony Joshua will be a great opponent for his next fight
Tyson Fury recently took to Twitter to share a video of him holding all his belts and calling out Anthony Joshua for a title fight.
In the video, Fury mentioned that he is going to fight this year but he has not announced the opponent. Tyson revealed that would like to give AJ an amazing opportunity to fight the ‘Gypsy King’ in the upcoming months. According to Fury, AJ is not heavily injured and is ready for a fight. He said:
“I think you’ve all head that I’m going to be fighting soon within the next few months, and I think that before I announce an opponent, that I need to do this just in case. Anthony Joshua – I know you’ve just lost a fight to Usyk and you’re beltless at the moment, and I’d like to give you an opportunity to fight me for the WBC Heavyweight Championship of the World and the lineal championship in the next few months.You’re coming off a twelve-round fight so you’re match fit, you’re ready.”

Fury then gave AJ a period to think and decide if he wants to take this fight. Fury mentioned that he will look for other fighters if AJ doesn’t give a positive response.
“I’m giving you a few months’ notice. If you’re interested, I’ll send you the date over and we can rumble. A battle of Britain for the WBC Heavyweight Championship of the World. Let me know if you’re interested, if not, I will select another opponent. Thank you very much and goodnight. Boom,” said Fury.
It may look a little one-sided given AJ’s recent performances but this fight has been around for a very long time. Fight fans, especially the Brits, always wanted to see the mega fight between AJ and Fury. It will be interesting to see what will the response of AJ after this call-out.
