Tyson Fury has already proved that he is an amazing champion with multiple title defences and amazing fights throughout his career. In his recent fight against Dillian Whyte, Fury defeated the fellow Brit via TKO. After the fight, Fury shocked the world and announced his retirement from the sport.
However, the WBC title is not yet vacant and Fury still holds the position. This is creating confusion regarding his retirement and other motives. There is a high chance that Fury will not come back professionally but will continue his boxing career through exhibition bouts like Floyd Mayweather. One of the most promising bouts can be Fury taking on UFC heavyweight champion, Francis Ngannou in future.
No matter what’s the case, Fury is a showman and knows how to create and maintain the hype around his fights. It will be interesting to see what is next for the ‘ Gypsy King’ in future.

Tyson Fury talks about his greatness as a boxing world heavyweight champion

Fury has achieved greatness and has made his legacy as one of the biggest heavyweights in the history of boxing.
While talking about his current status as a champion, Fury recently explained how crazy it is that among the seven billion people in the world he is number one. Fury claimed that it’s amazing that among the whole human population of different varieties, he’s the heavyweight champion. He said :
“There’s seven billion people in the world. Just think about that number – seven billion people and I’m the fing heavyweight champion of the world. Number one. Out of all those people, the biggest, fattest, baldest, ugliest motherfer on the planet, that’s me.”
Fury can indeed be considered the elite percentage of people in the whole world who can beat anybody else in a fight. However, this also starts a debate between him and Usyk. Unlike Fury, Usyk has three heavyweight belts which are the WBA (Super), IBF, WBO, and IBO heavyweight titles. Many fans also believe the same as both the fighters have never faced each other inside the ring.
