World heavyweight champion Tyson Fury has detailed his brother Tommy Fury struggling to finish opponents. His brother was very recently in a matchup with influencer/boxer Jake Paul. The calls of Social media star-turned-boxer Paul to face a ‘real’ boxer were met by Fury. Despite going toe-to-toe and breaking each other’s forms, Fury won with a 76-73 split decision on two cards.

Speaking at a recent interview, Fury had said that his brother would struggle to finish YouTubers KSI and Paul. This comes from his inability to build up to knockouts, even though he has power. On the subject matter, Fury said to the Queensberry Boxing YouTube channel:

My brother Tommy can hit as hard as any heavyweight that you'll ever hit. It's very hard, but yet he can't knock out KSI or Jake Paul because he doesn't have the experience to set that punch up. I actually lost a lot of money when Tommy fought Jake Paul. Because I bet 100 per cent that this YouTuber is not going to take Tommy's power. No way. Tommy hits me in the gut and it hurts me, he hits very hard when we're body sparring he hits me all up the arms and my arms are sore.

After Paul, Fury faced KSI earlier this month in a massive pay-per-view headliner at Manchester’s AO Arena. In a similar fashion, he had heavy strikes but struggled to get his footing in the match. Fury finally won with a narrow unanimous decision.

The match was controversial in its own rights, with hiccups in the official scoring. KSI had since appealed the controversial judging call demanding he should have won. The older brother was in attendance at the matchup.

Tyson Fury himself is set to face Francis Ngannou for a bout, at Riyadh. On Oct. 28. After that, he is also hopeful of facing Olexandr Ulsyk for a titular bout in December.

Tyson Fury sends a message to Francis Ngannou

Former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou makes his boxing debut this Oct. 28. Recent years have seen many crossover fights between cross-culture combative sports. Namely MMA and boxing. But so far it has been marked by UFC legend Nate Diaz and Bellator star Dillon Danis opting for chokes and holds.

This time around, the bout takes place under traditional boxing rules. Tyson Fury has warned the opponent off as such. He also believes he would be unharmed in the fight.

Speaking to MMA Junkie’s Mike Bohn on the red carpet of the grand arrivals ceremony, he sounded confident. Fury was of the opinion that opponent Ngannou would not be able to hit him, even with a ‘handful of rice’.

The Gypsy King thinks that this is a properly sanctioned boxing fight, which gives him the home advantage. He also considers himself fast on the footwork. Hence Ngannou would miss the chance to hit him, even if it was handed to him.

Fury went on to state that he believed he would knock the opponent out. The message came along with a stern warning to adhere to the rules of the sport itself.
