The boxing world has vehemently expressed its opposition to the Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson fight. However, WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury sees no reason why the matchup can’t be a good fight. The bout is set to take place on July 20 in Texas and is presumed to be an exhibition match. However, there have been reports that the organizers are now seeking to make the fight a professional one.

Hence, this has caused concern among fans for Tyson’s well-being since he is 57 years old. As such, many people believe that it might not only taint the legendary boxer’s legacy and professional record but also affect his health adversely. Others have labeled the fight absurd owing to the gargantuan age gap between the two. Despite the uproar, Fury spoke about the matchup with a lot of excitement and stated:

I just don't know what's not to like. Okay, the guy's 57 years old, but he's a former undisputed world heavyweight king.

It is likely this fight will happen somewhere down the line, but not anytime soon. As such, the WBC heavyweight champ spoke about the potential fight against his British rival. Furthermore, The Gypsy King mentioned that he is currently focused on beating the man who defeated AJ twice for now.

This implies that Fury is open to fighting AJ in the future after his dominant performance against Ngannou. In the interview, The Brit also mentioned that he is willing to give Ngannou a rematch if he gets paid well enough.
