John Fury ready to fight Dillian Whyte's father
John Fury is absolutely fired up following the press conference scuffle ahead of the Tyson Fury vs Dillian Whyte fight. Big John is ready to fight anyone from Whyte’s entourage and take them on anytime, anywhere.
Things got a little heated in the pre-fight press conference of Tyson Fury vs Dillian Whyte. Fury Sr squared up to Whyte’s team and had a bit of shoving and pushing. Following the hassle, Big John sat down with the folks from IFL TV to talk about the issue and also addressed Dillian’s challenge to fight his father.
Dillian was absolutely tired of John’s antics and suggested he should fight his father Dean Whyte if his hands were craving a fight. Dillian called John an “idiot”. Whyte also claims his father would smash John into bits but Fury Sr would like to disagree. “He can have a bare-knuckle fight with my dad. Anytime, anywhere,” said Whyte talking to IFL TV.
John responded to Dillian’s call out and said he will not back down from any challenge. Tyson’s father, 57 years boasted of his fitness and claimed he could fight anyone from Whyte’s entourage.
“Come and try it” Tyson Fury’s father ready to challenge Whyte’s father
“Anyone who thinks I’m a pushover, come and try it. I’m in London, I’ll shy away from nobody so come and try it,” said Fury furiously. “If they want me in the ring, it’s 1 million. In a car park, it is free. If Whyte wants me to fight his dad, no problem. If they want it, come for the weigh and have it.”
Tyson himself was not happy with how things turned out at the press conference as he believes the fighters should be the only ones throwing hands and the entourages should be left behind during the press conferences. Fury Sr then claimed, talking to IFL TV that he runs and punches the bag every day which makes him a problem for anyone trying to come at him.
Tyson and Dillian take on each other in the biggest stage on 23rd April, this weekend. The fight takes place at the iconic Wembley Stadium in London. Watch John’s full interview with IFLTV below:
