John Fury is the father of the boxer who is considered to be the best heavyweight fighter of this generation: Tyson Fury. Tyson Fury is known for his charisma and showmanship both in and out of the ring. It can be safe to say that he got it from his pops. John Fury is an absolute menace when it comes to the stage events of promoting his sons’ fights.
Recently, John Fury claimed that his son didn’t prepare well, which led to his poor performance in his mega-fight with UFC’s transitioned boxer, Francis Ngannou. The fight between Fury and Ngannou saw the latter flooring Fury in the 3rd round. Even then the fight was given to Fury in a split decision, which upset many fans who thought otherwise. However sparring partner of Tyson Fury, Sol Dacres brushed away the statement given by John saying that:
John really wasn’t in the camp. He was there in Saudi, maybe he is not happy with what he has seen in Saudi but that’s 2 weeks before the fight

Fans are now skeptical about how he will perform against a seasoned veteran like Oleksandr Usyk, who is his next opponent. The fans believe that if he couldn’t beat Ngannou dominantly, who was debuting in boxing, how could he take down Usyk who is known to have one the best ring IQs in the sport?
However, it is up to Tyson Fury now to remove the chip on his shoulder. He needs to train harder than ever to redeem himself. However, the fans are excited to see a rematch between Fury and Ngannou, which is said to be happening. Only time can tell if Fury has it in him to defend his legacy. Can he beat a newcomer in the sport and prove to the fans that he is still the best?
Tyson Fury talking about his ordeal with depression
Tyson Fury, the lineal world heavyweight champion, has been remarkably open about his struggles with depression. He said that his mental health struggles were intensified by his use of alcohol and drugs. This mental health challenge became acutely severe following his 2015 victory over Wladimir Klitschko.
Instead of reveling in his triumph, Fury grappled with substance abuse and a range of personal difficulties. This ultimately led to a hiatus from boxing, the sport he cherishes.

The depth of Fury’s depression was such that it led him to contemplate suicide. In revealing interviews, he has spoken about these experiences, highlighting moments of hopelessness. Such admissions starkly illustrate the intense feelings of solitude and helplessness often associated with depression.
Yet, the narrative of Tyson Fury’s life is not solely defined by his struggles. His story is equally about resilience and recovery. His comeback in 2018 is distinguished by significant victories, notably his win against Deontay Wilder. Beyond his achievements in the ring, Fury has transformed into a vocal advocate for mental health awareness, sharing his journey to inspire and support others who may be facing similar battles!
