Dmitry Bivol recently defeated Lyndon Arthur at the massively stacked fight card ‘The Day of Reckoning.’ Furthermore, Anthony Joshua vs. Otto Walin was the main event, while Deontay Wilder vs. Joseph Parker was the co-main event. Bivol has been under the spotlight, especially after becoming the second fighter to defeat Canelo Alvarez. Furthermore, being a part of this massively stacked fight card brought more attention to him.

Professional boxers are known for their incredible strength, determination, and skill inside the ring. They dedicate countless hours to training, conditioning, and strategizing to become the best. However, there’s one aspect of their lives that often goes unnoticed, which is their grooming routine. In a recent interview, Dmitry Bivol, the reigning light heavyweight champion, revealed that there’s one thing more troubling than fighting opponents inside the ring, which is his haircut. Furthermore, Bivol stated:

I have short haircut and just seven days and my haircut is ruined, you know. To not make new one I just use my hair wax, I just use my hair wax.

Bivol shared that his haircut only lasts for a mere seven days before it starts losing its shape. For a professional athlete like Bivol, who constantly appears in the spotlight, having a well-groomed appearance is essential.

Hence, to combat this recurring problem, Bivol relies on an essential grooming item, which is hair wax. Hair wax is a versatile styling product that offers a stronghold and allows for easy hair manipulation. Subsequently, when Bivol’s hair gets out of shape, he uses hair wax to keep it looking fresh.

Dmitry Bivol’s dominant performance against Lyndon Arthur

Bivol successfully defended his WBA light heavyweight title after winning via decision over Arthur at Riyadh’s Kingdom Arena. Any notion that Bivol, a native of Kyrgyzstan, would struggle with ring rust was quickly dispelled. Subsequently, the champion dominated the Briton almost from the get-go, utilizing his strong lead hand to control the fight.

Bivol, who had surgery on his right hand earlier in the year, stunned Arthur with a series of body shots. Furthermore, Bivol landed several solid shots, but he failed to get the 12th KO of his professional career. Subsequently, Bivol was awarded the fight by all three judges 120–107 in his favor.

With a 22-0 record and Arthur’s IBO title on the line, Bivol’s next fight has already been set. Subsequently, it will be the winner of Artur Beterbiev WBC’s mandatory title defense against Callum Smith, which will take place on January 13th.
