Mike Tyson is one of the most well-known heavyweight boxers in the world and dominated the division in his prime. Furthermore, Tyson is considered one of the last legendary heavyweights from the Golden Era of boxing. Tyson is also known for his intimidating presence, ferocious fighting style, and devastating punching power that can KO opponents. He was also known as the ‘Baddest Man Alive’ but most people are unaware of his vulnerable side.
Tyson had a tumultuous childhood, growing up in a crime-ridden neighborhood. Furthermore, Tyson faced numerous hardships from an early age. His father abandoned the family, leaving his mother, Lorna, to raise him and his siblings alone. The absence of a father figure contributed to Tyson’s rebellious behavior and involvement with street gangs in his youth.

In an interview, Mike Tyson and the interviewer began speaking about mental health and suicide. Subsequently, after the interviewer revealed that he attempted to take his life at 10 years old, Tyson stated,

After the interviewer revealed that he attempted to hang himself at the age of 10, Tyson responded by sharing his experiences. Furthermore, Tyson revealed that his childhood made him develop a certain psychology to hurt people or himself.
Subsequently, Tyson revealed wanting to kill himself multiple times throughout his life because of this. In addition, Tyson mentioned how everything he did wrong in his life made him richer and more famous. However, Tyson always wanted to be normal and at peace instead.

The Tyson vs. Buster Douglas fight took place on February 11, 1990, at the Tokyo Dome in Tokyo, Japan. Furthermore, Tyson, at the time, was the undisputed heavyweight champion and was widely considered one of the most dominant and fearsome boxers in the world.

However, Douglas, who was viewed as a significant underdog, shocked the boxing world by delivering a remarkable performance. In the tenth round, Douglas unleashed a series of powerful punches that eventually led to Tyson being knocked out.
Douglas won the fight and became the new undisputed heavyweight champion, handing Tyson his first professional loss. The upset was considered one of the most unexpected and historic moments in boxing history.
