Manny Pacquiao came back to the boxing world after he unexpectedly announced his rematch with Floyd Mayweather. However, the latter is not interested in making the fight happen, even though it excited the fans. Simultaneously, the young boxer, Conor Benn has also been calling out Gervonta Davis for a fight. Initially, Davis spoke with Eddie Hearn to make the fight happen, but talks ended soon.
Furthermore, Davis is now set to fight Frank Martin on June 15. This has led to an unexpected matchup between Pacquiao and Benn. While the fight is still brewing, both fighters have shown an interest in making the bout happen.
In addition, they came face-to-face during the Anthony Joshua vs. Francis Ngannou main event in Saudi Arabia. The fight has not yet solidified, but Pacquiao appears to have started training for it. As such, Boxing Scene uploaded a video stating:

The 45-year-old boxer can be seen shadowboxing in public. In addition, Pacquiao has demonstrated several times that he still has impressive footwork and hand speed. Hence, this video was no different and left the boxing world in awe.
Many people believe that the eight-division champion stands a chance against Benn, who is currently 27. Furthermore, Eddie Hearn has also expressed that they are serious about making the fight happen. Hranr also mentioned that a fight between them can occur in a stadium in London.
Conor Benn wants to replace Ryan Garcia
Even though his fight with Davis did not materialize, Benn is still keeping all doors open for a big fight. Hence, Benn’s fight with Pacquiao is only one of his many options. Furthermore, the former also wants to fight Davis’s rival Devin Haney if Ryan Garcia has to pull out for some reason.
Garcia’s concerning behavior and concerns over his mental health have only been increasing. Many people believe that he will not be in the physical or mental condition to fight on April 20. In such a scenario, Ben has stepped forward like a knight in shining armor and has volunteered to replace the 25-year-old boxer.
However, Benn is not the only person standing in line to replace Garcia, Shakur Stevenson has also expressed his intent to do so. Hence, if Garcia keeps up with his antics, there is a possibility that either Benn or Steveson could replace him.
