Manny Pacquiao is looking to revive his legendary boxing career. As such, he is putting in intense training that has caught the attention of some fans. Subsequently, fans are in awe after witnessing the footage as they await his rematch against Floyd Mayweather. In 2015, the two undefeated welterweight champions faced off in a match that would go down in history. Although Pacquiao lost the bout, he left a lasting impression on fans.
A recent workout video of him surfaced online, and fans are still stuck on the idea of a Floyd Mayweather rematch. Subsequently, while others are still speculating on where he might make his next move, in a video posted by FightHub on its YouTube channel, you can see the southpaw warming up with light footwork.
He demonstrates some impressive footwork while testing out some powerful combinations. In the weeks leading up to his epic return to the ring, he works tirelessly on his training, lighting his way with concentrated effort.
Amid this meticulous preparation, he dreams not only of an upcoming fight but also of other possibilities, with the thought of fighting again against Mayweather looming large in his mind. Currently, PacMan is scheduled to compete at the Fresh Air Festival in Thailand.
Furthermore, the fight will be held in April of this year, where it will take on Buakaw Banchamek in an exhibition match. Although he has said that he would like to fight Mayweather again, the boxer has yet to confirm this.
Potential bout between Manny Pacquiao and Gervonta Davis
Pacquiao’s popularity in the sport of boxing has never been wanted. The former champion of the world, who last competed in 2021, has been rumored to be considering a comeback. While Pacquiao has some well-known names lined up for his next fight, there’s one unlikely contender that keeps popping up.
Hence, Gervonta Davis has recently emerged as a potential opponent for Pacquiao. This matchup initially came up in 2019, when Tank ignited talks of fighting against Pacquiao. Subsequently, Davis asked Al Halmon to set up the fight, but talks about the fight later slimmed. However, Pacquiao has now shown an interest in fighting Davis and stated that he is a good fighter.
Furthermore, Pacquiao stated that if Davis comes up to 147 pounds, they can fight. Hence, there is a possibility that Davis might fight Pacquiao next instead of Mayweather. However, the rematch against Mayweather is expected to be the bigger fight.
