The retired and wealthiest boxer, Floyd Mayweather, often loves to travel during his free time. As such, Mayweather has recently flown to different places, like Israel and Greece, on his private jet. Now, Mayweather has unexpectedly arrived in India, which caught several fans off guard. While being accompanied by his team, Mayweather was spotted in Mumbai, India. Furthermore, the famous boxer even visited the famous Siddhivinayak Temple during his visit. 

The temple is a revered site where devotees pray to Lord Ganesha, who is known as the harbinger of good fortune. During the visit, Mayweather was surrounded by several security personnel and people while he entered the temple. Once he was inside, people began to chant prayers while they joined their hands, and Floyd Mayweather did the same. After this, the priest asked Mayweather to momentarily remove his cap so that he could receive a ‘tika’ on his forehead.

The tika has a deep-rooted tie to Hindusum, as it is believed to energize an individual’s third eye and awaken their spiritual awareness. As such, Mayweather’s quest to seek God’s guidance can be viewed as a deep sensitivity to spirituality amid his fame and success as a sportsman.

Furthermore, one of the main reasons for Mayweather’s trip is his new business venture with Limitless X’s founder, Jas Mathur. Hence, the trip marks Limitless X’s first foray into the Indian market and promises to raise awareness and promote the idea that health is wealth.

Floyd Mayweather wants to do an exhibition fight in India

Mayweather did not just arrive in India to attend to his business. ‘Money’ also revealed that he wishes to fight an exhibition fight in India this year. The retired boxer has participated in several exhibition bouts after his professional boxing career. Hence, after fighting in countries like Japan and Dubai, he now wishes to do a huge exhibition fight in India. Mayweather retired with a perfect record of 50-0 and yet he still keeps himself busy with boxing even after retirement.

As such, Mayweather revealed that they are currently looking for a big name and a solid opponent. Even though he has not found his opponent yet, Mayweather is very confident about the fight happening. In addition, Mayweather revealed that anything is possible with so many amazing people in the country. A fight in India, especially with an Indian opponent can be an immensely lucrative opportunity for the former champion,

It was also revealed that the opponent can be picked from India, Japan, the UK, or America. Hence, Mayweather wishes to put on a big show in India once he secures a suitable opponent.
