Joe Rogan is a huge fan of Mike Tyson and often speaks highly of the man. Rogan once went as far as saying a prime Tyson would beat any other fighter in the history of mankind. With respect to this, when the pair sat down to talk to each other in one of Rogan’s podcast episodes, there were definitely some amazing moments.
During their conversation, there was an incident in which Tyson got serious and it made Rogan concerned, as nobody would like to be on the wrong side of the retired boxer, even if he’s in his 50s. Tyson mentioned on the podcast how serious he was when he was misunderstood throughout his career. “I’m being very serious. Rogan got what Tyson was saying but failed to identify the seriousness. “I know you’re being serious, but I mean, no one will understand that.”
Tyson didn’t side with Rogan and revealed that the right person would do that but Rogan didn’t comply and this triggered Tyson as he came back with a firm reply. He said, “They do, hey, hey, hey, oh! I was I listened I was I was there somewhere around nothing if that’s no somebody on drugs you don’t tell me no you tell me now be honest be that’s not somebody high you tell me.”
After that, Rogan immediately stopped his hysterical laughter, the friendly expression on his face replaced by a sudden stillness. It seemed like he just got scared of Tyson and didn’t know what he was doing. At that moment, he remained silent, as did the whole room. Perhaps he feared that any further words might offend his podcast guests, especially Mike Tyson.
Joe Rogan got a bigger table in his podcast because he was scared of Mike Tyson
Joe Rogan disclosed that he got a table with bigger dimensions in his podcast studio due to his fear of Mike Tyson. Tyson and Rogan have collaborated multiple times on Rogan’s podcast and the first one made Rogan realize that he needs a bigger desk.
In a podcast episode featuring comedian Dave Chapple, Joe Rogan openly discussed the unsettling incident involving Mike Tyson. Rogan recounted that during their initial conversation, Tyson was sitting very close; his massive hands and shoulders were very intimidating for Rogan. But when their now-infamous minor disagreement erupted, Rogan’s fear escalated to an extreme level, leaving him noticeably nervous throughout the encounter.
The UFC color commentator then revealed that he thought sitting close to guests would look good but after his experience with Tyson, he stopped that idea. Rogan got a bigger desk and according to him, it was the better decision.
