Mike Tyson, during his prime, was a force to be reckoned with inside the ring. Despite his young age, he became the youngest heavyweight champion at the age of 20. Fans of the sport loved Tyson’s ability to demolish his opponents. English soccer legend and interviewer Jimmy Greaves was also shaken after witnessing Tyson’s skill first-hand.

Jimmy Greaves is regarded as one of the best strikers of all time and one of the best players in England’s soccer history. Greaves won the FIFA world cup in 1966 and has the second most goals in Tottenham Hotspur, following Harry Kane. After his retirement, Greaves made a shift to the broadcasting industry to eventually interview the baddest man on the planet. In 1987, Mike Tyson was already a well-established name in the sport of boxing. He had a record of 34 wins and 0 losses. With 30 of those wins via knockouts, Tyson’s era was in its early phase.

Jimmy Greaves interviewed Tyson when he was 21 years old. The duo talked about Tyson’s favorite boxer and his boxing techniques. However, Greaves was left astonished after he got inside the ring with Tyson. Greaves commented on Tyson’s physique and stated that all of his powers come from his core. Jimmy also critiqued Tyson’s technique but was shortly corrected by Iron Mike. “ I just punch with a snap. My Shoulders and my legs bring the punches together with accuracy and precision,” said Tyson. This was later followed by a demonstration from the then-21-year-old heavyweight.

Tyson demonstrated his signature technique and missed Greaves by a hair. After witnessing the speed and explosiveness of a young Tyson, the soccer legend was stunned. His eyes lit up and his face became that of a person who saw a ghost. Fair to say things would not have been good for Greaves had Tyson not missed during the demonstration.

Mike Tyson believes he would have been more dominant in the ring had he used psychedelics. During his interview with TMZ Sports, Iron Mike discussed his recent experiment with psychedelics. “It allows you to go in that realm of just comfortability, relaxness, and preparation to reach your highest level. It’s just an amazing feeling, “ said Tyson.

When asked if the use of psychedelics would have made him a better, more dominant fighter, the 56-year-old, without a doubt in his mind, said yes. Apparently, Tyson reached this conclusion after using it during one of his recent training sessions.

Mike Tyson has always been a proponent of psychedelic use for personal growth. He also, on numerous occasions, talked about psychedelics saving his life. Despite the lack of psychedelics in his prime, Mike Tyson still managed to become one of the scariest fighters. A psychedelic-driven prime Tyson would have surely been a site to witness.
