Mike Tyson, a former professional boxer and heavyweight champion, was known for his exceptional head movement in the boxing ring. Tyson’s head movement was a crucial component of his defensive strategy, allowing him to slip and weave away from his opponent’s punches while staying in a position to counter effectively. Furthermore, Tyson’s fighting style is famously known as ‘peek-a-boo’ and is practiced and imitated by many boxers.

Similarly, a clip of a young Russian boxer at an amateur gym is going viral on the social media platform X. The boy seems to be in his early teens and is a clear beginner when it comes to boxing or athleticism. Furthermore, the boy seems to be practicing boxing drills with a partner at the gym. In addition, the boy mainly focuses on footwork and slipping punches like Mike Tyson while trying to land counterpunches. The video was uploaded by Dovy Simu MMA with the sarcastic caption, “Find someone with better head movement; I dare you.”

In the video, the boys are maintaining some distance and stalling a sparring session without landing actual punches. In the center of the video is the boy wearing a yellow shirt, practicing his head movement and footwork. Furthermore, the boy is a complete beginner, which can be indicated by his movement.

Subsequently, the boy has rigid footwork, but his head movement is excessive. In addition, the boy continuously shifts his head from left to right, which further slows his overall movement.

Fans react to the Russian boy’s head movement

The Russian boy in the viral video is a clear beginner and an avid fan of Tyson. This can be mainly interrupted by the way he is trying to imitate the pee-a-boo boxing style. Tyson would weave his upper body, bending at the waist and moving his head in a bobbing motion.

This made it difficult for opponents to land clean punches, as he could quickly change levels. Furthermore, Tyson had an incredible ability to slip punches by moving his head to the side, making opponents miss their targets. Hence, it is clear that the young boy is trying to imitate the legendary boxer’s fighting style but is failing. Subsequently, fans reacted to the video by stating, “Mike Tyson has been quiet recently.”
