Ahead of facing WBC super lightweight Devin Haney, Ryan Garcia has been stirring up all kinds of storms. From controversial claims on X-Space, dissing his varied rivals, to shooting shots at online influencer models, he’s done it all. The 25-year-old ‘King Ry’ bounces back to action on April 20th, live on DAZN. The journey to that has been more perilous than ever. Now, Floyd Mayweather has got into that mix.

Garcia has been recently warring with Golden Boy PromotionsOscar De La Hoya, clashing heads on the issue of 50-0 legend Mayweather mentoring him. FightHype‘s Ben Thompson met ‘Money’ who alluded to ‘Sugar’ Ray LeonardRoberto Duran, and Tommy Hearns‘ smooth run under the Top Rank banner. While he abstained from stirring commotion, he was “Absolutely willing” to sign Garcia.

From socializing to meet-ups to Garcia gawking at his car collection; the duo maintained quite an acquaintance. While the association has somewhat withered now, Mayweather still lauds his bounce-back win over Oscar Duarte last December. However, notwithstanding all this, here’s what Garcia recently claimed in yet another X-Space convo:

In an X-Space collaboration with Andrew Tate, the boxer revealed gruesome details of forcibly being made to watch heinous pedophilic acts. He then turned heads with a lesser preposterous collab announcement with equally controversial Kanye West. His current claims on defeating the undefeated legend are sure to have similar repercussions.

Headspace Versus X-Space scoop: Is Floyd Mayweather angry with Ryan Garcia?

Speaking to TMZ Sports, Garcia stood by his newfound friendship. De La Hoya had primarily told FightHype that he was okay with them “linkin’ up.” Following a 3 AM run in Las Vegas, after an NBA game, Ryan Garcia once made a surprising switcheroo from Devin Haney to Rolly Romero. Consequently, an irked-up De La Hoya has issued fiery words and threatened a lawsuit.

However, it appears things aren’t as smooth anymore. The 24-1 Garcia has been attracting blame for coke usage from his rivals. Hence, FightHype‘s Ben Thompson once retweeted specifics on his mental erraticness/postponing his match. Garcia fired back by claiming he worked for Mayweather who pushed for the fight to be stopped.

In all honesty, it might have been a push to fight Romero, who’s a part of Mayweather’s Promotions. ‘Money’ has expressed quite an interest in it, when Garcia settled upon the rival before Haney. He even liked some social media snippets on it. De La Hoya hinted at the same.

However, ‘King Ry’ considered it differently and later told The MMA Hour‘s Ariel Helwani that Mayweather might even be angry with him. There’s no telling if these are part of Garcia’s latest string of whims or if Mayweather has issues with him.
