Mike Tyson has come a long way as a human and boxer. His recent opinions on the war between Ukraine and Russia have impressed many fans worldwide. But Tyson had simultaneously managed to keep his sense of humor intact when he cracked a shocking joke to journalists.
The Russia-Ukraine war had initially started as a financial war since Russia was funding Ukraine on various ventures. But the small fights at the borders, arguments during diplomatic meetings, and the involvement of many third parties have escalated the tussle between the two countries into a full-fledged war. Many athletes like Oleksandr Usyk and Sean Strickland have voiced their support for Ukraine in the war.
In a recent interview with Fox Business, Mike Tyson was another fighter who decided to speak on the matter publicly. Tyson believed the war was unnecessary, considering the time and age we live in. Tyson has even denied any claims to be able to urge Vladimir Putin to stop his invasion of Ukraine. Another media appearance showed Tyson’s lighter approach to the topic.
Tyson jumped to speak on the mic and stated, “Get out of Ukraine.” to a Russian reporter. This sort of frank behavior was utterly unexpected by the reporters at the incident. This joke shocked fans and media alike since the war is still a sensitive topic.
Mike Tyson trolls Brazilian football fans with Argentina Jersey while testifying in front of local authorities
Mike Tyson has always been a firm representative of “an all-American boxer.” But the feared boxing legend has often represented other countries in unique ways. His recent support for Ukraine was a sign of the world’s empathy for the people of Ukraine in its gruesome war against Russia. Tyson also has a hilarious side, which can be seen multiple times.
One such instance of Mike Tyson displaying his aggressive sense of humor was when the boxer was involved in a local fight in Sau Paulo, Brazil. When the local authorities demanded Tyson’s presence, “Iron” Mike decided to show up for his testimony with an Argentina football jersey.
This would obviously infuriate the locals in Brazil since they are massive soccer fans. Brazil and Argentina have cultivated a long-time rivalry against each other to reign as the best footballing country in South America.
