Yordenis Ugas is considered one of the best boxers in the world irrespective of his recent loss to Errol Spence Jr. Errol Spence stopped Ugas via a tenth-round TKO victory. The referee had to stop the fight because Ugas’s eye was swollen shut.  

Ugas later in a tweet admitted that the referee made the right call of stopping the fight. Errol Spence Jr is now set to take on Terence Crawford for all the marbles. While Yordenis from his eye injury it will interesting to see who is he going to face next. His last victory came against one of the greatest boxers of all time Manny Pacquiao where Ugas won via unanimous decision.

Celebrated boxing coach Teddy Atlas heaped praise on Yordenis Ugas after he lost to Errol Spence. According to him, Ugas showed courage in that fight as even after getting pieced up he walked right up to Errol to trade punches. But there is only so much damage a man can take.

Yordenis suffered a gruesome eye injury after taking a massive punch from Errol Spence. According to many reports, he suffered an orbital bone fracture. If this is true, he will have to sit on the sidelines for several months. This fight was a massive treat for the boxing fans around the world who were eagerly waiting for Spence and Ugas to trade leather. It remains to be seen who will Yordenis face in the future or will he face someone at all as the orbital fractures are career-ending.
